01 — Expertise

Infrastructure that can't go offline.

A water utility doesn't get to pause. Every project we take on has to be planned around an unbreakable constraint: residents must keep receiving clean, pressurized water — every hour of every day — while we rebuild the system that delivers it.

A trusted partner to New England's water authorities.

Leed is a go-to contractor for the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority and for municipal water departments across the region. We've rehabilitated filtration trains, re-roofed finished-water reservoirs, replaced storage tanks, upgraded chemical feed systems, and rebuilt structural elements — frequently with the parallel process line kept in continuous service beside us.

That work demands a contractor who understands NSF-61 materials, EPA disposal standards, confined-space and dewatering protocols, and the regulatory expectations of public health agencies — and who can sequence it all without a single interruption to municipal supply.

02 — Capabilities

Full-scope treatment work.

From the intake to the distribution main, Leed self-performs the disciplines that keep a treatment plant running and pushes the rest through a vetted bench of specialty subcontractors — all under a single accountable team.

Process & Filtration

Filter rehabilitation and dual-media replacement, underdrain rebuilds, automatic backwash systems, aeration and process pumping, and clearwell work — executed to EPA and NSF-61 standards with full media disposal documentation.

Storage & Containment

Finished-water storage tanks, geodesic aluminum domes, reservoir roof reconstruction, structural concrete repair, and secondary containment — built and renovated while parallel storage stays in service.

Chemical Feed & Mechanical

Chemical feed system upgrades, metering and dosing, valve and weir-gate replacement, fall-protection systems, and the process piping and controls that tie new equipment into legacy plants.

03 — Method

Building around a live system.

The hardest part of water work is never the construction — it's keeping the water flowing while you do it. That's our specialty.

Zero interruption to municipal service.

On project after project we've isolated and dewatered one half of a treatment train, installed hydraulic separation curtains, and lowered heavy equipment dozens of feet below grade — all while the parallel basin kept supplying the community without a drop of lost service or a single boil-water notice.

We plan every shutdown, bypass, and tie-in during preconstruction, coordinate closely with plant operators, and sequence the work so the utility never has to choose between a needed repair and uninterrupted supply. When the project is done, the system is stronger — and residents never noticed a thing.
